"Without context, its meaning may be misunderstood."
Example
A king writes:
We shall remove our enemies.
Without context,
someone might think
he means political opponents.
But the surrounding paragraphs reveal
he was discussing an invading foreign army.
Context changes meaning.
Another example
Someone says
Revolution is necessary.
Without context,
you do not know whether
- scientific revolution,
- industrial revolution,
- political revolution,
is meant.
Context prevents misunderstanding.
