A term to circumvent By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari Only coward does not die many times before his death; rather whoever treats every situation as a life-and-death matter.  Fight against those who fight against you in the way of Allah, but do not transgress, for Allah does not love transgressors. Minimize cultural identity in perception of American culture ·         The term that replaces cultural imperialism may be on the horizon. A new term will be tailored to circumvent the simplistic active-passive, dominator-victim dualism. The term intends to minimize the role of cultural identity in choosing various avenues of acceptance, rejection, and alteration that audiences may choose when confronted with American culture.   No money in poetry ·         ‘There is no money in poetry, and there is no poetry in money’.

Cross-fertilization is a symptom

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari Addiction is born out of activity that has taken on a life of its own, not making addict great in fulfilling it but bad in not doing so. “Three traits single out a hypocrite, even if he prays or fasts and claims to be Muslim: If he speaks, he lies. If he makes a promise, he does not keep it. If he is entrusted, he betrays the trust.” It is a symptom not a cure ·         Cross-fertilization between mass and minority art is assumed to be the cure of plight; this mass-minority split is as a matter of a fact is its symptom. Inherent limitation militate against transmutation              ·        Inherent limitations render an endeavor an impossible enterprise. No literary giant can transmute art into high art without altering its fundamental nature; however, he can end up with a great trash.

Question is further complicated when layered with the lens of positionality

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari Engels is quoted as saying ‘no party can condemn me to silence if I have decided to speak’. Truly courageous words indeed; however sometimes it needs more courage to be silent when not offering eulogy is tantamount to offence. Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least. (Surah Ahzab 33:23) Educational approach is not necessarily laced with contradiction ‘Educational approach is laced with contradictions. For example; how does an educator foster a change in perspective within a theoretical orientation that advocates a learner-centered approach? This question is further complicated when layered with the lens of positionality.’ If intended change is to make good better or better best, for example people rooted in practice are urged to spruce them up so there is no contradiction. Contradictio

Clearly defined but inconclusive

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari Doctors are sad to know that people are free from disease and politicians are   sad to know that people are free from troubles; therefore they give advice to people to get into trouble to be relevant. “So then is he who is a true believer similar to the person who is an open sinner – never can these two be considered as equal.   Surah al-Sajdah (32), Verse 81. Clearly defined but not restrained by definite limits  Empirical evidence that underlies the main tenets of the theory gives it the specific orientation; and its inherent open-endedness accounts for its vaguely formulated part. Assumptions are to be true for paradigm to be true  ·        Paradigms, as it is believed, prove to be constitutive of all scientific activity; therefore, determine what to attend to and what to ignore. True, if fundamental assumptions (about the nature of the universe) those are constitutive of paradigms are true.

Good speaker

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari Politician is so tuned in to public opinion that he does not even know his own opinion. `Umar (ra) said, “Do not learn knowledge for three things and do not leave it for three things. Do not learn it to dispute over it, to show off with it, or to boast about it. Do not leave seeking it out of shyness, dislike for it, or contending with ignorance in its stead.” Good speaker  ·        Good speaker appeals to logic and uses non artistic and extrinsic proofs and appeals to emotions by means of the art of rhetoric to find artistic and intrinsic proofs. Two different experiences  ·        The educational experience is never value neutral to be educational experience but emotional experience is always logic-neutral.

Failure is the success

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari ‘Silence is golden’ is the best refuge of timid when courageous words are needed to shame the silent. And he who brings the truth and (he who) accepts it as the truth… 39:33Who is then more unjust than he who utters a lie against Allah and (he who) gives the lie to the truth when it comes to him; is there not in hell an abode for the unbelievers? And he who brings the truth and (he who) accepts it as the truth… these are they that guard (against evil). (Surah Zumar 39: 32-33) Love is to be blind to be called love  ·        In ‘Transformative learning in practice’ Jack Mezirow says: ‘feelings are irrational if cannot be tested through rational discourse’.  Failure to test justification of feelings through rationl discourse is the success of feelings. Love derives its justification from being blind. Realities make one illusive  ·        ‘Every educational approach is rooted in ideals, but one becomes illusive, when the realities of practic

Values can be rational even untested

By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari “ Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”   ―   Albert Einstein . Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear – Surah Baqarah – V 286 ·        In ‘Transformative learning in practice’ Jack Mezirow says: ‘values and feelings are irrational if cannot be tested through rational discourse’.  If one cannot test justification of values and feelings through rational discourse, it cannot make values necessarily irrational as discourse can possible be irrational or not comprehensively rational enough to critically assess underlying assumption.   Test of feasibility ·        The Feasibility of recommendation is judged by how much work one puts onto the case from the recommendation.
A thing cannot be clichéd By Prof   Dr. Sohail Ansari “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”   ―   Bernard M. Baruch A thing cannot be clichéd In modern critical terms edited by Roger Fowler, writer says: ‘Deconstruction, as set of popular clichés soon palls’ however, a things cannot be clichéd without being palled. Politicians then do not stand for anything ·         The inevitability of the wide adoption of brain scanning technologies means politician will be using mind reading in architecting politics; getting to slick with the technology and applying it too liberally to voting behavior. This kind of tailoring implies dishonesty about political means and ends as politicians then do not stand for anything.
The critical analysis of ‘ Khuda Kay Liye’   (movie written by Shoaib Mansoor ) By  Dr. Sohail Ansari They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah's Light (with which Muhammad SAW has been sent - Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it). Chapter Name:Al-Tawba Verse No:32 Scene:   Maulana Wali in a court responding to pre-mediated questions (being grilled for eliciting intended answers) Maulana in response to a question about permissibility of music said: ‘Only four among all prophets were given the books, each (from these four) had the miracle of his own. Dawood (peace be upon him) used music (and used instruments as well) to glorify God. Will God c
