Rhetorical modes

And most of them follow not except assumption.  Indeed, assumption avails   not against the truth at all.  Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.  (Quran 10: 36) Honest relations are just like water. No color, no shape, no place, no taste, but still very important for life. Rhetorical modes   (also known as   modes of discourse ) describe the variety, conventions, and purposes of the major kinds of   language -based   communication , particularly   writing   and   speaking . If he makes a promise, he does not keep it. I envy paranoids; they actually feel people are paying attention to them. Susan Sontag An   open-ended question   is designed to encourage a full, meaningful answer using the subject's own knowledge and/or feelings. It is the opposite of a closed-ended question, which encourages a short or single-word answer. Closed-ended questions are those which can be answered by a simple "yes"
