Gentler form of metaphor. Political marketing through Critical
analysis. Logical absurdity

He
believes that there can never be a zero scope for improvement and appreciates
criticism if it is not for the sake of criticism.

Harmony has beauty inherent in it and everyone can feel it;
cacophony is the chaotic and awful sound and only creative genius can find
beauty in it.
·
A belief in good luck has given way; conviction extends
that diligence is the mother of good luck.
Gentler form of metaphor
·
A gentler form of metaphor is simile that uses ‘as’
or ‘like’ to compare something to something else. Metaphor directly says
something is something else.
Political marketing
through Critical analysis
·
A critical analysis is subjective as it expresses the
writer’s opinion of a text; however required intellectual honesty makes it the
objective evaluation. The purpose of a critique is to evaluate some body’s work
(a book, an essay…) in order to increase the reader’s understanding of it.
Political marketing
consultant writes a critique to affect understanding/perception of a writer. The
critique of political marketing consultant is calibrated to one specific purpose:
producer of analyzed work must fall from grace. Political marketing consultant evaluates
the means by which the author has accomplished his purpose; he analyzes the
text of an essay or an ad to judge who is the intended audience, and then work
through deliberate misunderstanding; for example text of an ad is tailored to
elicit response ( that can be translated into votes) from non-Muslim/secular
segment of society but political marketing consultant analyzes it as it is
directed to religious people; he picks lines intended to appease the fear of
intended audience to construct the image of a politician as the enemy of religion.
Political marketing consultant understands the writer’s assumption about
intended audience (that they will be pleased to hear assurances) and understands
that non-intended audience will be angry; therefore, he uses rhetorical devices
(as he directs ad to non-intended ones) such as ‘how dare one can think people
those love their religion can bear this stuff?’
Text appears tame if its
purpose is stated to affect emotion, but as a matter of fact, its purpose is to
inform with factual information. Political marketing consultant classifies
texts; he collects ads those are actually designed to be emotional and then
place the ad of opponent that is designed to inform in this category. He publishes
the category of emotional ads of two or various parties and the ad of his opponent
automatically stands out. Reproduction
of ads is objective, but because of subjective classification, ad (of opponent)
reflects badly on its producer.
Logical absurdity
·
The popular notion that people are generally apathetic
of politics is outdated; a recent polling indicates a record low participation.
