Stupid answer does not.. When the dismissal must be dismissed
Stupid answer does
not.. When the dismissal must be dismissed By Dr. Sohail Ansari
Conceived and worded by DR Sohail Ansari (originality of
concepts and originality of words).
He believes that there can never be a zero scope for
improvement and appreciates criticism if it is not for the sake of criticism.

One of our major flaws is to see one as saint because of one quality
despite many flaws and as devil because of one flaw despite many qualities.
Stupid answer does not
always prove you stupid.
Wrong questions are of
various kinds: ask a child about the feelings he will be introduced much later
in life and you will get the stupid answer; but the stupidity of answer proves the stupidity of questioner not of a child.
Question is wrong for the person if it proves him wrong. Question the
licentious hedonist of the rightness of asceticism. Answer: ‘This is the right
way of living a life’ proves the stupidity of a respondent as he follows the
wrong way of living: ‘a stupid person
gives a sensible answer’; however, the answer: ‘this is the wrong way of
life’ is the stupid answer that proves a person stupid. Some questions are so stupidly
wrong that even attempt on the part of respondent to meet them can prove
respondent stupid: ‘what will happen if
a man defeats God and takes over the control of the universe’. Answer: ‘Answer is not possible as this is impossible’.
Wrong application of a right answer to a right question produces painfully
funny recommendations. Man experiencing restlessness because of jaded appetite
is questioned ‘how he feels’ and the response is taken to address restlessness
created by the pangs of hunger; malnourished
and emaciated are consequently advised to go for diet and exercise. The
cruelest joke is to suggest a man to spend lesser time on bed who has pain in his body because of no rest not
because of too much rest.
When the
dismissal must be dismissed
The error in reasoning
does or does not make the entire reasoning wrong. It does if it is of fundamental
nature; however, in case, it is not then completely dismissing an argument
because of it renders the dismissal invalid; and one must dismiss such
dismissal.
