Intellectual dishonesty, Points to ponder, Fallacy,
By Dr. Sohail Ansari
Conceived and worded by DR Sohail Ansari (originality of concepts and originality of words).
He believes that there can never be a zero scope for improvement and appreciates criticism if it is not for the sake of criticism.
·       True follower agrees with the conclusion evidence he is unaware of portends.
·       He is a great leader as his followers say, and I as well believe that he can achieve the impossible as I have seen him ‘diving down deeper into the sea of knowledge and coming up drier’.
·       Intellectual dishonesty
·       Intellectual dishonesty is used as a rhetorical device to frame an opponent in a negative light. Opponent is termed intellectually dishonest if he advocates a contradictory view despite agreeing with the conclusion evidence portends. However, the person using the term (intellectually dishonest) for the ‘person A’ is himself committing intellectual dishonesty if he states ‘A is aware of the evidence, yet advocates a contradictory view’ and does not mention that a person A agrees with the conclusion evidence portends or not, awareness implies agreement as it is implied but that is not always the case.
Points to ponder
·       Frequency with which symbol appears in the message does not lend intensity to it as erroneously believed. Frequency cannot give intensity as it is the repetition of significance not the significance of repetition.
·       Good ad sees the personal life as an empty slate and the intensely personalized focus of message shapes it with the package of stimuli resonated with desires of recipient so that the realm of needing is absorbed within the domain of communication.
·       Euphemism does not work in some cases; it can simply make the truth less unpleasant. Extreme euphemism can make it extremely less unpleasant, though it does not cease to be unpleasant. Truth continues to hurt; therefore, its nature is to be dented.
Fallacy
·       Everything that is slightly similar is slightly different.
·       No one who is tall is also short, no one who is black is also white, and no one who does evil thing can be on the side of angel.
·       No human can be so cruel, he is so cruel, and therefore, he is not a human.
·       Killing people is not a sin; prophet (P.B.U.H) killed people during wars. Prophet (P.B.U.H) can do only good deeds; therefore killing people is not a sin.

·       Killing other makes one killer, therefore, killing the killer makes one killer.
