GOD is democrat
Many people are washed
down the drain because they opt for the discipline they are not cut for; but
many people fail to excel despite channeling themselves in a right field. This
is most often because people pursue things wonderfully well if constantly being
reminded of the time-limit. Real challenges of a life, however, do not occur in
the examination hall; therefore many academically
brilliant fizzle out like the wet firecracker because they fail to follow
implied time-constraints.
Mass consumption mediated by technology
made possible the democracy of consumption
since the advent of industrial revolution but God is democrat since the
creation of the universe. God always
gives every individual a chance ‘the opportunity to excel’ but no individual has always that chance and does suffer from the logical
consequences of not respecting the powerful
temporal constraints. One cannot do any hitting if either the hammer or the
nail is taken away; no matter how brilliant he is at hitting.
Justification
for propaganda in autocracy and in democracy
In autocracy elite
have more than enough force to compel obedience but propaganda has its own
worth. Compelled obedience is
short-lived; one is obedient as long as one is compelled; but one is always
obedient if he has not feeling of being
compelled. In democracy elite lack the requisite force to compel obedience;
but a government ruled by the people could not sustain itself without a
specialized elite shaping and molding public opinion through propaganda;
therefore, we must recognize the ignorance and stupidity of the masses and not
succumb to democratic dogmatism about men
being the best judges of their own interests.
