Turning eyes into cameras  
·       War film turns war zone into a film. It turn soldiers’ eyes into cameras so that audience cannot know that things are chosen to be shown nor feel perceptions become accelerated, discontinuous, and mechanized or that war’s losers has come out far ahead of the winners.  

Face to face with reality despite  
·       One can be face to face with the awful reality, despite his never having come near to it if he finds his life turns upside down, just as surely as if he had been in it.

Leap from the page to the screen  
·       The success of the leap of propaganda from the page to the screen depends very much not its author but its actors.

Truer than no media without celebrites  
·       It is said there have been no media without celebrities, truer, perhaps is that there have been no celebrities without media.

Shifting viewpoints  
·       One example of shifting viewpoints can be, when one feels his heart melts at the suffering of other, and then feels aloof when he finds other imposter.  

For judging a movie  
·       To judge any movie, one must accept the conventions of an era in which it is made.

Fictionalization of history  

·       For the fictionalization of history, sentimentalities are to mark the horizon of historical imagination
