Points to Ponder

·        Communism was the harbinger for only those who reasoned from its premise alone; but it was not the disembodied logic of the doctrine alone, but the elusive practical ambiguities __the natural corollary of conducting methodology on the intuitive understanding of human action and social goals__ and the mediation of a doctrine in experience through successive responses which failed to give human and social cost their due, even as means to an end.

·        West has the influence of Islamic philosophy on its thoughts, but has repudiated because of the legacy of hatred only its sources, not the brain child but its paternity: resemblance is discounted accordingly as more apparent than real.

·        It is a second nature of every chauvinist, jingoist, and ultra racist to condone ethnic cleansing as merely a passing historical episode and to rationalize and compromise with it as the prize that is to be paid for a ‘pure state’. Price might come high for himself and for the society, has always been purely an instrumental consideration in his humanistic calculus; the ‘pure society’ can only be achieved at the tragic sacrifice of life on the empirical plane.
