What the statement ‘This formula is unprovable’ says of itself is
false, and then it is self-apparently false and yet true. This statement is
unprovably provable.
Similar
things can be more dissimilar

Political marketing consultant uses an error-producing fallacy
of analogy in politics in order to attempt to persuade people to transfer the
feelings of certainty they have of a thing they are certain about to a thing
they are uncertain about. People are swayed by the power of an analogy despite
the dubious principle (that makes analogy undependable) that if two things are similar
in some respects they are similar in some other respects because in most cases
relevant differences outweigh relevant similarities.
Thing
had not to be ethically justified to be logically justified

justification here, not ethical justification’ and could not make it out as to
me a thing had to be ethically justified to be logically justified till I was
confronted with a choice of testing drugs on animals before trying them on
humans or trying drugs on humans before testing them on animals. Testing drugs on animals before testing them
on humans was not ethical but it was definitely very logical. Strong
but flawed
·
One says weak induction to demean the quality of an inductive
reasoning because of his own particular world view that does not allow one to
see that the conclusion is likely given the premises. Strong induction appears
reasonable and logical but is potentially flawed interpretation of the truth.
