·       Understanding no matter how profound and penetrating is conditioned by the social totality and cultural collectivity; thus inevitably be circumscribed.    

We can know words only 

·        It is very unlikely that poet had in his mind all meanings when he applied words; critic explores all intended meanings; therefore, no analysis of diction can indicate exactly the feelings of its author or in other words we can never know the nuance of feelings captured by a word.  . 

 Intellectual consultants must not be peripheral

·        When political movements corrupted by anti-intellectualism take no interest in the theoretical work of theoretical collectivity; theoretical collectivity modifies its political associations by withdrawing from political interaction.  Irrationality on the part of political movement is because of irrational insistence on the maintenance of institutionalized distance between theorists and party activist. Theoretical collectivity must be the part of an internal struggle within the political groups to keep the line (political party follows) correct. Intellectual consultant must play a role as full time political leaders despite Engel’s insistence on the maintenance of the theorists’ intellectual autonomy from party controls because intellectual autonomy from party control ultimately releases party from intellectual control.
