Fallacy Of Parallelism & Quotes By Dr. Sohail Ansari

Conceived and worded by DR Sohail Ansari (originality of concepts and originality of words).
He believes that there can never be a zero scope for improvement and appreciates criticism if it is not for the sake of criticism.

Fallacy of Parallelism
Statement:
·       ‘If quarks are the smallest subatomic particles in the universe, then gluons are needed to hold quarks together. Since gluons are needed are to hold quarks together, it follows that quarks are the smallest subatomic particles in the universe.’
Fallaciously parallel examples:
1       If he is a human, then he needs guidance as he grows (as instinct does not guide him). Since he needs guidance, it follows that he is a human.
2       If he is the riches man in the universe, then he needs security to protect him. Since he needs security, it follows that he is the richest man in the universe.
3       If he is stupid, then he needs tutor to teach him. Since he needs tutor to teach him, it follows that he is stupid.
